THE AMAZING CRESCENT NEBULA READIES FOR DETONATION

This amazing structure is NGC 6888 or The Crescent Nebula and it’s a relatively close 5000 light years away in the constellation Cygnus (the swan). The structure itself stretches a vast 25 light years in diameter (That’s Earth to Proxima Centauri and BACK 3 times). The Crescent Nebula is what’s known as an Emission Nebula and at its center is a Wolf-Rayet Star cataloged as WR-136 or HD192163.
