My darling made me Tomatoe Soup brightend with lemon juice and scallions. Grilled cheese with cheddar and Swiss, a bit of mayo in between the cheese slices makes it melt just right. She also put carmelized onions, garlic and spinach in our fancy grilled (always made with real butter) cheese sandwiches.
We made hot chocolate cake in a mug..fun to make and eat.
She said “I like to cook on sad occasions, not as much for holidays.”
She loves me and makes me “comfort food.”
